A Prolonged Series of Silences

The creature inside my mind, feeding on me, That silhouette I could never confess to anyone, not even myself, Those claws scratching at my skull, And those screams keeping me from thinking...

Yes, this body lived with a creature within. But as time passed, Dilemma emerged through the cracks, filling the places of my fading emotions with something far worse. My hope turned into ambition, my joy into anger, and my love into suspicion... The voices inside my head began to escape through my lips. Because nothing remained of who I used to be.

The dreadful nightmares that come with standing still, To stop, for me, is like reliving everything all over again. The same pain, the same losses, The same failures.

If I am intolerant, the reason is both you and me. I have neither the strength nor the desire to put up with you. That is why I choose to ignore you.

And most importantly, if you haven't understood me, I have no desire whatsoever to tolerate you...

People imprisoned within their own minds... You think you are free, but you are not. And the most ridiculous part is that you are your own jailers. You have surrendered yourselves to becoming copies of others. You cannot form your own opinions, and you drag down those who can, pulling them into the depths with you.

I still extend my helping hand, but how much longer I will wait, only God, if there is one, can bear witness to. I no longer know.
