Twilight Of The Mind

Our mind is a strange construct, as well as fascinating and complex.

We plan what we talk about, what we will talk about, our behaviors and many things in our daily life, change it in our head, and we want to give something better.

Why do we do this? Because of the influence of thoughts of being accepted and not humiliated.

We scrutinize our words, sometimes trying to gain attention or be accepted in a community by telling funny jokes or interesting memories that didn't actually happen. We do this over and over, consciously or unconsciously, throughout the day. But when the twilight of the mind comes, the regrets in our subconscious, those unlived memories, the behaviors we wish we had done, and the words we wanted to say and threw into our hearts come to light.

Now we are face to face with them. For the people we make ourselves accepted, we face the regret of changing our selves.

Why are we really doing this? Why can't we be ourselves? Why are we willing to hide behind the same fake, masked "I" every day and lose our sleep at night?

We are very strange beings, strange enough to even choose not to be ourselves in order to impose ourselves. When no one is left, we are alone with ourselves, that's when the twilight of the mind begins, until the sun rises and mingles with the people...

You never think about the possibility that thousands of people in the crowd, maybe you are doing the same things you hide behind to make yourself accepted. Maybe that's why you're willing to live this cycle over and over again every day...
